Ethos and Spiritual Growth
With the blessings of Mahatma Gandhi, the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was founded in 1938 by kulapati Dr. K. M. Munshi, a freedom fighter and educational leader.
The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has 119 Kendra’s in India & 6 overseas centres and 367 constituent institutions. The latest entrant in the family of Bhavans is the Navi Mumbai Kendra at its new generation centre at Vashi.
The Kendra building was inaugurated on 2nd oct. 2020 by Shri Dinesh K. Daftary trustee in the presence of Shri H.N Dasturji, Executive Secretary and Director General and Shri I.R Khandwala ji Hon Treasurer and since then it is developing into a Cultural hub of Navi Mumbai.
K.M Munshi Institute of Advance Studies (KMMIAS) is also housed in the same building. KMMIAS is recognized Centre of excellence in Mark ops Skills by the Maharashtra state skills university & conducts classes for imparting the Mark ops skills.

Interesting event
This event was held to make the children learn the Kolam art which is one of the traditions of southern India of making rangoli by using rice paste.
In this event the children’s have represented different states of India
